Kavithaalaya was established by Smt. Kavitha Venkataraman, a
seasoned instructor with 15 years of experience in teaching Carnatic
vocal lessons to students ranging from 5-year-olds to adults and
music enthusiasts. Her musical odyssey commenced in her early years
under the tutelage of Smt. Susheela Sridhar, and she has been
privileged to receive guidance from numerous distinguished
artists.
Smt. Kavitha has graced the stages of various prestigious venues in
Chennai and the Livermore temple in California, among others,
showcasing her musical prowess. Her achievements include several
accolades in the realm of music.
Carnatic vocal instruction is offered for students of all levels,
from beginners to advanced. Classes cater to a wide age range,
welcoming students from 6 years old through adult.
These classes provide a supportive learning environment for both
in-person and online instruction. Classes are conveniently located
in South Frisco.
